Moeskaer Herefords recieve prestigious award

During The Canadian Western Agribtion 2024, the largest show in Canada, Moeskaer Hereford recieved the Jim Lewthwaite Memorial Award.
The award was giving to recognize our more than 40 years work of promoting Canadian livestock genetics internationally.
This prestigious award is rare. Moeskaer Herefords is the first to recieve the award in 5 years and it is only awarded 20 times in the last 35 years.
The award was presented by Chairman of Canadian Western Agribition Chris Lees and CEO of Canadian Hereford Association Michael Latimer.
It was a big moment for us recieving the award in the showring with thousands of spectators and live broadcasting.
We dedicate the award to Jette and Svend Erik who imported the first Canadian Herefords back in the early 1980's when starting the Moeskaer Hereford herd.
